By accessing or using Telaora (the “Site”), you agree to the terms below. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Site.
What the Site Is
Telaora publishes free, practical guides about hiring design work on freelance marketplaces — mostly logos, posters, and brand identity — and compares the platforms where that work happens (currently Fiverr). We’re an independent reference site, not a marketplace, and we don’t take orders, hold your money, or deliver design work ourselves. When you hire through our links, the transaction happens between you and the seller on the platform.
Your Use of the Site
You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial reference. You may:
- Read and bookmark the guides.
- Share links to specific articles.
- Quote short passages with attribution and a link back to the page.
You may not:
- Republish whole articles or our datasets without permission.
- Scrape the Site at scale or present its content as your own.
- Use the Telaora name or logo to imply endorsement we haven’t given.
For broader or commercial use of our content or data, contact us at [email protected] first.
No Guarantee of Design Outcomes
Our guides describe how the freelance design market works: what tiers typically include, what deliverables to expect, and what makes a brief good or weak. They are reference material, not professional, legal, or design advice. We can’t guarantee:
- That any specific seller will deliver work to your satisfaction.
- That a logo, poster, or brand system you commission will meet your needs or any trademark standard.
- That a freelancer will hit a deadline, accept your revisions, or handle files the way you’d prefer.
You hire the seller directly and assume the outcome risk. If you need to protect a mark, the right step is a trademark search and filing on the relevant platform (for example, USPTO in the US) — a separate legal step no design package includes.
Affiliate Links & Commissions
Some links on the Site are affiliate links, most commonly to Fiverr. If you click one and complete a hire, the platform may pay us a commission. That’s how the Site funds its research; it costs you nothing extra and does not change the price you pay. Our full affiliate relationship is explained on the Affiliate Disclosure.
Third-Party Platforms
When you follow a link to Fiverr or any other site, you’re bound by that site’s own terms, privacy policy, and service quality. We don’t control and don’t take responsibility for what third parties do with your data or how their services perform. Before you commit, read the terms of the platform you’re hiring through.
Content Ownership & Attribution
The text, structure, and original analysis on Telaora are ours. Pricing datasets (for example, the downloadable Fiverr logo/pricing CSVs) are our compiled work, built from public data, and may be shared with attribution and a link back — but not republished wholesale or sold as your own.
Intellectual Property
If you commission a design through a linked platform, you own what you ordered under the seller’s stated terms — including what “full rights” or “copyright transfer” actually covers for that gig. The operative source is the seller’s listing, not our summary; check the wording in the gig before you order.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for any loss or damage that results from using the Site, from following a link, or from any decision you make based on our content. This includes decisions about which seller to hire, what to pay, and whether to register a mark.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as the Site or our relationships change. When we do, the “Last Updated” date above and the text on the page reflect the current version. If you continue to use the Site after a change, you agree to the updated terms.
Contact & Governing Law
Questions or requests: [email protected]. These terms don’t pick a single governing jurisdiction — the Site is read worldwide. You remain covered by the consumer protections of your own country; if our terms conflict with a mandatory local law, that local law wins.
