How We Make Money

Telaora is free to read. We keep the site running through affiliate relationships, and we’re clear about them so you can make decisions with full information.

Some of the links on this site are affiliate links. Most of them go to the Fiverr Affiliate Program, which means if you click one of our Fiverr links and complete a hire, Fiverr pays us a small commission. This happens at no extra cost to you — the price you pay for a designer’s work is the same whether you land on Fiverr through our link or not.

We don’t pay you to use the links, and we don’t take a cut of what you’re billed. The commission is the same percentage of the order either way, and it’s paid by the platform, not deducted from your invoice.

What the Affiliate Relationship Covers

  • Platform links. Links to Fiverr gig listings, search results, and category pages. These are where the commission applies.
  • Pricing data and comparisons. Our guides are built from public data we collect ourselves (gig pages, review counts, tier pricing). The numbers and recommendations in those guides are ours. The affiliate relationship does not change which numbers we report or which tiers we recommend.
  • Recommendations and opinions. We only point you to Fiverr because it’s a platform we can actually verify against public data. We don’t run paid placements or sponsored reviews, and we don’t accept money from sellers to feature them.

What It Does Not Change

  • The content. Our pricing data, comparisons, and “what to look for” advice are written against the public information available to anyone. No seller or platform gets to approve or edit our findings in exchange for affiliate revenue.
  • Which designers we point to. We don’t sell “spotlight” or “featured” placements to individual Fiverr sellers.
  • The price you pay. Affiliates earn from your purchase at the standard rate; the total you pay is identical with or without the link.

Where You’ll See Disclosure On This Site

We surface the relationship in three places, so it’s not hidden in the footer:

  1. At the top of this page — the canonical disclosure.
  2. In each guide that contains affiliate links — a short line near the first Fiverr link, e.g. “This article contains affiliate links. Read our disclosure.”
  3. In the site footer — a persistent one-line notice on every page.

Our Independence in Practice

Telaora is built by a Service Advisor, not a designer. We don’t sell the design work ourselves; the transactions happen on Fiverr between you and the seller. Our role is to help you read the market fairly — what a tier actually includes, which deliverables matter, and how to brief a brief. The affiliate model funds that research, but it doesn’t get to shape it.

If you’d rather not use our links, you can always search Fiverr directly. Nothing about the work costs more and nothing is lost by going that route.
